Today, we honor and celebrate the life of EPFR Firefighter Jeff Conover in a private ceremony at Calvary Community Church in Sumner at 3 pm.
EPFR and Sumner Police Department personnel will lead a small procession between 1:50-2 pm to escort the family from Station 113 (where Jeff began his fire service career), through downtown Sumner, and to the church.
Firefighter Conover passed away unexpectedly during an off-duty incident on October 5, 2022.
Beginning his fire service career with the Sumner Fire Department (an EPFR legacy department), Jeff has been a part of the EPFR family for 20+ years.
The Conover and fire service family have felt our communities’ outpouring of love and support.
