Finance Department
The Finance Department, with oversight by the Fire Chief, provides comprehensive accounting, budgeting, payroll administration, debt management, investment, financial reporting, and internal control services for the department.
The department ensures compliance with policy, State and Federal law, and generally accepted accounting practices. It prepares the annual budget, monthly financial statements; reconciles bank accounts, and manages cash and debt. The department prepares the annual financial report, which includes detailed audited financial statements and statistical information about the department.
